What We Believe

We are fundamental……..We believe in the doctrines of the Church that have stood the test of time, namely the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His death on the cross as payment for the sin of mankind, His bodily resurrection, and His personal return. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that God extends salvation from sin, and the gift of eternal life to all who by faith, receive Christ as the Savior of the World.

We are evangelical…….. We believe it is the privilege and responsibility of all churches to share the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection of the salvation of mankind. We share this wonderful news here at home and all around the world so that children, young people and adults alike can enjoy the benefits of knowing Christ both now and through eternity.

We are independent…… We recognize Christ Jesus as the Head of the Church and submit to His authority through His Word. As a self-governing church of Anabaptist heritage, we seek fellowship with churches of like faith and gratefully acknowledge that churches of other historical backgrounds are performing God’s work as well.

We are family oriented……. We believe that the family has fallen on the most desperate of times and that it is the responsibility of the Church to nurture family life through every phase of the church ministry. Therefore we make plans and implement programs that are designed to fulfill the essential needs of all family members, allowing families to worship together, recreate together and grow together. We want to strengthen the family unit for the challenges we face in the 21st century.

We are community minded…….. We believe that some of the greatest needs are to be found at the doorstep of our neighbors, and we endeavor to add the element of Christian charity to the efforts of our community to meeting these needs. We extend our prayers and personal effort to relieve the spiritual and physical suffering caused by sin and want to see the redemptive work of Christ change our society for the better.
